We the people ... Check my build PLEASE

Gentlemens.....first time poster here, no applause please.
No pics b/c frame has yet to arrive but would like some input on the parts I'll be hanging on it.......I pulled a weight weenie number and totalled up the grams and came up with25.75 lbs.........sounds too light. Anybody have exp w/ how this works out once built?

I'm not a true weight weenie (otherwise I'd go HT) but I want a bike I can charge the DHs with yet climb well and ride all day and not feel doing it.

    My choices:
    Med 08 5.5
    Fox 32 Talas RLC
Cane Creek 110 H.S. - check the website, cool H.S.
Mavic Crossmax SLR Disc - same as SL but I like the ti skewers and bags
    Thompsom seatpost
    Thompson Elite X4 stem
Easton Monkey Lite XC or SL?? Is there a strength diff??? Don't want to find out the hard way
    Oury grips.....love 'em
    Avid Juicy 7s 180/160
    Sram X9 Shifters/Der Fr/R
    Sram PG-970 Cass....upgrade when it's toasted
    Sram chain
    XT Cranks 22/34/42
Eggbeater or Candy pedals - have a set of each
Maxxis Ignitor 1.95 UST tires Fr/R
A yet to be determined light and comfy saddle???

    Thanks for your time!!!!!

Fox 32 Talas RLCHave you bought yet? If not, consider the new Manitou R7 MRD 100mm or 130mm
Cane Creek 110 H.S. - check the website, cool H.S.
Mavic Crossmax SLR Disc - same as SL but I like the ti skewers and bags
Thompsom seatpost Go with the Masterpiece if you've still to buy
Thompson Elite X4 stem Most people here are really happy with the Syntace F99 stems

I'd get XTR cranks instead if you can, and I've been happy with the Selle Italia SLR saddle.

    Intense 5.5 frame...5.5", 6.5 lbs.
Already have the seatpost but can upgrade later...good thought
    stem-haven't thought of the syntace
Fork- have to put a 5' travel on it to balance the back and the fox are PLUSH
That's the exact saddle I'm thinking.....how rideable is it for longer rides, say 3-4'?

    Thanks guys

SLR is really comfy for me (and i ride HT).

Maybe I missed sth, but 5,5" travel and 1.95" tires? Go get some 2.25 Nobby Nic or R.Ralph
