    Carbon-Ti rotors?

I'm looking to save some weight on my new race bike for next season, and one of the places I can save some weight is by replacing the brake rotors with Carbon-Ti rotors. Anybody have experience with them? I'm curious about hos titanium works as a friction material, and what kinds of performance and problems/limitations I can expect.

Sorry, I know that it’s an Internet cliche to answer the question “How do I X?” with “Are you sure you want to X?”, but...

How much weight do you think you can save relative to using ultra-light steel or steel with an allow spider rotors?

I have Hope Floating Pro rotors in 160/140. The C/Ti version of the Carbon-Ti rotors weigh 57g/48g, so it should save around 37g.

But do they work well enough?

I haven’t tried them. But if you haven’t already seen it, this seems worth reading. So does this.
