    Is bar tape heavier than foam grips?

    Just curious... I dont have any near me to weigh so I figured Id ask.

    Depends on the foam grip in question... grab ons were really heavy for example around 80g... Scott LF foams on the other hand, 34g/pair.

    Like the Titec Pork Rinds or the Extralite ones. I dont know what the different bar tape weights are, anyone?

    The website in your sig says they are 22g and Price Point says the Pork Rinds are 22g and they are only $8...

    Good catch! The Velos are actually 19 grams, but the end plugs weigh 1.5 grams each. That weight includes the end plugs. I've verified this.

    They are so comfortable I use them on all my bikes. A lot of my friends use them too. Shoot, they are the least expensive way to drop weight off your bike!
