Wow, it looks like that they get rid of all those Alu screws, and have them all replaced with Ti version.

    Nice post eliflap.

I don't see much differences from the current formula R1's.. well seems to be a mix between formula R1 and Formula the one...

No pistons are not oval. Their new RO is the only one with oval pistons.

The R1 Racing gets a redesigned master cylinder, with a 25% larger capacity and new diaphragm, carbon levers, titanium hardware and Kevlar braided hose. The updated R1 also gets the new master cylinder.

Looks like the old and new model are more and less equal in weight?

Not to be a smartass, but it is pretty much late summer now (unless you heard 2012 or something).

What will the price of the R1R be compared to the R1?

Yes, they will be available in black, but they are two-piece rotors, not floating.

    Looks nice.

But the hope rotors are still lighter. The X2 RACE / Mono Mini Pro rotors came in at 79g 160mm and 65g for 140mm...

Formula decided to give the 2-piece some additional strength, foregoing some weight savings for what they think is a better rotor, more strength, better heat dissipation, etc.
