    Upcoming Duthie Hill Road Closure

Head's up folks...King County Roads is replacing the Patterson Creek Bridge on Duthie Hill Road beginning in early to mid-August.

Duthie Hill Rd will be closed at the bridge for 3 months and the reroute will be Issaquah-Fall City Rd. This will increase traffic along that road and pose a greater risk to bikers.

Please do NOT park along Issaquah-Fall City Rd. And be careful when crossing to Grand Ridge Park. Remember, there’s always plenty of parking at Cascade Elementary.

Went by there the other day. Still no sign of work.

Anyone got a viable drive around for folks going to Doofie from the East side? Either up over the plateau past Beaver Lake or into Fall City to the Issy/Fall City Rd?

"The detour" - which I've taken often on road bike - is to keep heading east on 202 until you get to the Aldarra field, turn right on 308th, follow it right onto 40th, becomes Issaquah Fall City Road.
