Would like to learn the 'Shed and Patapsco

I'd like to hook up with a group some weekend if there's one that fits.

    Me:
I ride 20-30 miles / week on a Motolite 1x9 or Ragley Blue Pig single speed.
I can keep up with most anyone but the XC guys & gals that actually race.
    I do 3-4 foot drops.
I stay away from gap jumps for now.
I like skinnys, rock gardens, ladders, twisty singletrack.
I'm thirtysomething years old and not annoying or needy.

If I had to label myself, I'm a flat pedal-using, knee and elbow pad wearing, AM rider.

I live in York, PA, but go to Raystown, Michaux, & White Clay. Been to Patapsco a couple of times and like the trail with the stick teepee; "Drugs"? Never been to the Watershed and wouldn't know where to even park.

Post over at MORE. They also have occasional group rides up there. You could keep an eye out for one of those. If you're an adventurous type, the Watershed isn't huge, and it's pretty easy to get a feel for the boundaries of the place, but there are a lot of trails to miss.

I'd say try patapsco first. The watershed is a 10 min drive from my house but I'd rather make the commute to patapsco. While school is in Im at umbc so I can ride there in a few. The watershed is hit or miss imo, some parts are fun, some parts are a pain.

sounds like you might fit in with the Pedal Pusher dudes who ride potap Sunday morning. I rode with them once, and they showed me parts of Potap i had never seen before. Good group of guys.

I'm free most weekends and can give you a tour of the fun stuff, I ride in the 'shed regularly 3-4x per week. PM me if you're interested and we can work out the details.
