    Traveling up to WV, Charleston

I'm thinking of heading up there for a day trip this coming weekend. Anyone from that area know any good riding spots? I'm looking for some fast single track that's also technical and challenging.

Kanawha State Forest is your best bet for technical singletrack.

Kanawha State Forest is deff. where you want to go. Pick up at map at the forest rangers station and go wild. If you like technical downhill sections aim for Black Bear. Its steep enough to challenge any rider but not so much that you need gobs of travel. There are some nice switchbacks and jumps built in on BB.

Google "Black Bear Mountain Bike Race Course" or someting like that to get an idea of the way people ride trails at Kanawha State Forest. Then get a map and ride.

Black Bear Course info. Obviously, you can mix it up.
