    Trail sanitation Little Bennett

LB has been the place where we could go and get some decent climbing that isn't boring. But doesn't require a lother of skill. My wife is still learning so it's been a great place for her to get comfortable squeezing between stuff while choosing lines. The built a flow trial which is cool, but why are they smoothing out everything else?

MIkes hard cider, should now be called Mikes apple juice.

LB is in a multi-year process to implement their trail master plan that includes rerouting a lot of trails for better sustainability. Given the level of horse traffic and (IMO) the lack of many of those equestrian users staying off the trail when it is wet, some revisions are needed for long term benefits. I don't think their goal is smooth it out, that's just a byproduct of their design.

There was a post to the Little Bennett MTBers Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/330228167354987/) in the spring asking what features people would like to see, so I take it the people working on the project are open to suggestion. Try contacting the park manager and talk to them about the future plans.

Ok, that makes sense at least. The trail does take forever to dry, and we can ride around the puddles. But the horses don't, so it does mess the trail up.
