status of big levels/sherando wilderness proposal?

Hey, a while ago there was a proposal to make most of the trails around Sherando/Big Levels in the GWNF in Va wilderness. Does anyone know what happened with that? Last I heard a "bike friendly proposal" had been worked out, but then I see the current proposed Va wilderness bill just seems to cover the Jefferson NF in the south of the state. Anyone more up-to-date than I am?

I "think" the Jefferson NF bill is different from the bill that would cover the GW. You're correct in that "bike friendly" proposal has been work out, but I'm not positive of which areas exclude the trail corridor from the Wilderness vs other designations such as Scenic Areas.
