Sleepy creek / poor house farm

I'm going to be visiting some family in west Virginia this weekend. I'm hoping to ride at sleepy creek wma and poor house farm. It's supposed to rain Friday, so I'm wondering how well these trails handle rain and what the conditions may be like. Also trying to find out if there is any other trails in the area. Staying in Bunker hill.

    Thanks!

Hit Jordan Springs market for some good BBQ, pretty close to Bunker Hill.

Other good places to ride are 45 - 60 min away: Elizabeth Furnace, Wolf Gap, Frederick Watershed, Gambrill State Park. All great, technical riding that holds up to the rain well, not sure if that travel time is available for you.

Thanks! I will add those to the list of possibilities and check out the bbq place.

Here's a few routes to help you navigate if you head to some of the suggestions. Not sure where you normally ride, but these places are rocky so the pace is slower than fast flowy trails. Some gravel roads on a few routes to connect the good stuff

I'm a little late, but for next time you're our this way...cacapon state park is right nearby, and we've been building some new trail there.
