Reddish Knob conditions (Timber to Wolf) after rain? Good Drainage?

Hey guys was planning to head to reddish this Saturday to hit timber ridge to wold ridge (so fun), but it is supposed to rain Thursday and Friday. Anyone have an idea how the trails should be out there? Should I go or not? I dont mind getting a little wet or muddy but I dont wanna mess up the trails at all.

    Thanks!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say avoid. I believe (someone else might be able to confirm) there was recently some work done on Wolf. That in particular is probably still soft. Reach out to Chris at Stokesville Lodge and see what he says. I think the SVBC used to have some condition advisories on their web site as well, that could also be a good resource.

Good advice. That said, worst case scenario you could ride Timber down to Lynn (which is old and old school, highly unlikely to be an issue in my opinion) and descend that instead of the new stuff on Wolf, which you correctly state will probably be a bit soft. That loop is much easier to climb as well, you park at the reservoir half way up the road and climb from there.

I would just head over to Lookout. There is so much rock there that trail damage is pretty unlikely.
