Looking for Mech help in NOVA

Ok so i just bought my first FS bike. It is a 2008 specialized FSR Comp, and i cant get the front derailleur to line up for the life of me.

The full story can be found here:

I would gladly offer up some beer or whatever to get someone to help me out. I just want to get this thing tuned in right. I have most of the tools at my house or i would be happy to bring it to some one elses place if they can spare a 1/2 hour to show me what i am doing wrong.

I am a bike mechanic by trade, and have a nearly full compliment of tools in shed. I am also currently underemployed. I am in east falls church. I am always looking for side projects and have taught bike repair for a bike coop before. I also do minor work for beer. PM me.
