    Gamvrill warmup

At gambrill as some of u know there is a big hard climb right out of teh beginning of the yellow loop going out of the lot (counterclockwise) that is a pain in the ass if u dont warm up. What is a good quick relativly flat loop that u can do to get warmed up for the climb. going on road is ok too

Maybe do the red loop? It goes down to the campground and climbs back up to the yellow trail just after you enter the trail clockwise. It does turn into a hikeabike for the last 75 yrds before the yellow, but shouldn't be a bad warm up.

I agree, hitting that hill on a cold engine su<ks. The only real option to avoid it is to park at the top, but where's the fun in that?

Man, good to hear I'm not the only one. Had to laugh when I read the post.

I remember a few months ago, hadn't been on my bike for several weeks and climbed that hill and it just about killed me. Then the rest of the ride I was shot. Zapped right from the beginning. That was a bad day.
When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide
Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride
Till I get to the bottom and I see you again...

that hill is the warm up. actually we start at that lodge as you turn off 40 and ride road for a bit, then dip in at that first picnic area. at least get a little blood pumping before the hill.
