    fun kiddie trails around Richmond?

My 7yr old and I are passing through Richmond on Monday 4/15 as part of a road trip down to North Carolina. We are looking to stretch our legs and grab some lunch in Richmond. Looks like rain over the weekend. What will be rideable and fun for a kiddo on 20" wheels? Thanks!

(We do have a tow rope setup. So flat terrain trails or trails with a big up followed by a big down are best. Rolling terrain is tough for little legs).

Nothing that I'm aware of in the Richmond area has "big up, followed by big down". They just don't have the geography for that.

With that said, Pocahontas state park has great flow trails that could be a hoot on a 20" bike. If you park at the lot on Courthouse Rd, you should find plenty of stuff to have fun on . It's pretty flat, so I'm not sure how well it holds up to water & I'm not sure just how much rain they got last night.
