    Freedom Park near Williamsburg

Going to Williamsburg on vacation. Saw Freedom Park is close to where I'm staying. Bike choice question, full suspension or fully rigid bike? If I take the rigid bike, I can also throw on slicks and ride more comfortably on the road. Don't want to do that if the Freedom Trails are technical. From what I read, they don't seem to be. Any opinions would be welcomed.

Was just there mid-April. As far as technical goes, Freedom Park isn't all that technical. But it can beat you up, especially Trail C. Of course there are bypasses to all the crazy stunts on Trail C. I took my full squish and am so glad I did. There is of course plenty of roads to ride comfortably, if that's your thing. Me, I don't hit the pavement, just the dirt. There is also York River Park nearby as well. Pretty much the same type of riding, not too technical, and mostly single track.
    LOVE THE RIDE!

Thanks. I'll probably take the full suspension, sounds like it will be worth it.
