    Fairland Park trails/conditions?

I'll be in the area this weekend, thought I'd check out Fairland.
#1 It looks like a trail goes from the parking lot of The Gardens Ice house & heads right into the park; is it easy to navigate trails from there?
#2 Are trails not too techy? (I ride White Clay & also a little more technical stuff that that usually.)
#3 And if it rains this Friday, would trails likely be dried out or still a mess on Sunday? Thanks.

Park at the far end of the Ice House, there is a short paved path that leads right into the park. It is not real technical and most of the climbs are short. Its not as flowy as W/C. It does drain pretty well, if it doesn't pour on fri it may very well be rideable on sunday. Trails aren't marked very well,a few have post markers with names. Total mileage for the whole park is probably 9-10 miles. Here is a map which may help you out.Fairland Park trails/conditions?-fairlandmap.jpg

This is kind of the "standard" route, hits pretty much all the trails there, and in the better direction. The eastern-most section of Viper; make sure you hit that heading south as shown in the link. You'll thank me when you get there.

Parts of Crows foot will probably be muddy if it rains Friday - there are parts that pretty much don't dry out anymore. Holly and Silverwood will likely be good. Viper, depends on how much rain. If it's dry Saturday, I doubt it will be a total mess, but there may be spots.

Yea I've noticed that there are some spots that now take a long time to dry, especially on Crows Foot. Be sure to hit the "roller coaster" on Viper that Joules hinted at. There is a bridge out on Viper but you should be able to see the ride around that goes out into the meadow then back in. Also there are 2 jumps on the Holly trail loop if you are so inclined so ride that clockwise.
