    Delaware Riding Question

Hello -- I tried going through the Delaware Trail Spinners website, but the "contact us" is throwing an error.

I belong to a tandem mountain bike club. We have ridden with our friends in White Clay State Park, DE and we are planning on doing a club ride in White Clay this October.
While on the Trailspinners Site, we see a mention of Brandywine Park in Wilmington, DE for mountain biking. While on the Delaware Parks website, we don't see much in the way of mountain biking mentioned on their site. Is there good mountain biking there? Is the riding similar to White Clay?

    Thanks!

Brandywine Park or Brandywine Creek State Park? Both are listed on the website you mentioned. If it's BCSP, yes riding there is great.

    Brandywine Creek State Park

Is most of the riding just north of the park in the "Federal Lands"?

    Thanks!

I love riding both, but they're different. White Clay is much more flowy and fun. BW is rockier and rootier (is that word). I find the climbing tougher at BW too.

I always park in the back lot of the JCC on Garden of Eden off RT202. Some people park in the hotel lots next to the TGIF on RT202 (about 1/2mi past the JCC). Both are about 50' from the start of the trails.

There's plenty of other places, but those are the two I'm most familiar with.

There is also a lot at the hotels off of RT. 202, basically right behind Red Lobster. The trail head there can take you anywhere you want to go.
