    Chincoteague VA where to ride?

    Going to be in the Chincoteague Area for the weekend. You guys know of any places to ride. I found a some trails up the road in Pocomoke behind a YMCA. Anything else out there. Thanks

    There are some trails located in Salisbury. I believe it is called Naylor Mill Park. Last time I was there was about 3 years ago. A nice little mixture with a good amount of log overs, bridges, etc. I forget the total mileage but it wasn't too bad for what it is.

    MTBProject.com shows a few more trails just north of there, but overall it is slim pickens.

    Fat bike on the beach might be the best option!

    i lived on the island for a while, before the trails mentioned above were built. From friends in the area haven't heard the new trails are awesome. Riding around on the island isn't horrible and i always included a loop through the refuge. Beware the sprayer trucks in the evening though sometimes it seems like they are everywhere. I never liked breathing that stuff. Never rode on the beach, just too loose but that was pre fat bike.
