    Baltimore trip review

    Hi everyone,
I wish I would have seen this thread:
    http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=320393 before last weekend.
I was out there for a short trip to see my parents (living temporarily in New Windsor, Md). Maybe I could have ridden with some of you guys.
Check out my thread on the Colo - front range forum, just for kicks.

I thought Patapsco was really fun - especially with all the leaves.
I rented a Specialized Hard Rock from Princeton Sports. Not the best bike in the world, but it was fine for what I needed, and the crew there was great. They didn't have a pump for me though, so that made me a little nervous, especially when I made a wrong turn and ended up on a little used trail with wild rose bushes all over the place!
I rode from the park-n-ride down soapstone, up bull run, over to Vineyard, down to the bike path, back and forth on the bike path a few miles, over to Ridge trail out and back to the swinging bridge, then back up soapstone.
Good weather, good trail system, good fun.
    Ride on!

Glad you had fun in Patapsco. Post up here the next time you are in town. We'll get a group together to ride Patapsco or even one of the other trails in MD.

Sorry we missed you but glad you had fun. Post up next time you are in town. Princeton is a good shop… most of my bikes were purchased from them.
