    495 jumps still active?

As this is my first mtbr post, I'd like to say hello to everyone from Fairfax, VA. My friend and I were riding throughout the blue trail at Wakefield for a few hours yesterday as the weather and trails were great. Although we were in the right vicinity of the 495 jumps, we still couldn't find them with thorough searches through the forest. So my question is whether the 495 jumps are still active/still there and they might just be hiding in the dense vegetation? If they are still there, id love to bring a shove and tools out there and help out in any way possible. Thanks!

oh, yes they are very active. My friend taylor is always out there working. There are tarps over a lot of the lines to keep water off. Just make sure to put them back when you are done riding.

Hi, are the jumps on the trail right next to 495? When I go southbound on that trail, I first see a small jump possibly made of some metal plate (?) and then I see one ramp off a boulder that may with possibly be a 30 degree or more ramp, and then I see another ramp off another boulder that may be 30 degrees. In front of both boulders there are smaller rocks that make up the ramps. Not sure if these are the 495 jumps/ramps that people are talking about.

No, that is just one of the normal trails of Wakefield. I still cant find them lol - the brush is so thick.

The 495 jumps aren't actually at Wakefield, though they are close by. Head north on the CCT past Little River TP.
