    We the people ... Will a 94 LX freehub fit onto a 92 M900 XTR hub?

    finishing touches to a project. sourced the rear hub (thanks sylvain!) but it needs a new freehub. I have a 94 lx (the black first parallex ones). will the freehub fit as I've have problems mixing freehubs & hubs from different years in the past.

    advice appreciated

    According to Sheldon Brown's site:
    Virtually all Shimano freehub bodies are interchangeable. The exceptions are:

    * Very early freehubs (identifiable by the absence of the typical bulge on the right end of the hub barrel) which have non-interchangeable bodies.

    * Hubs that use the new "silent clutch" mechanism.

    * Pre-1997 Dura-Ace freehubs, which only take pre-1997 Dura-Ace bodies.
    It sould work.
