    What model Klein is this?

What model Klein is this?-img_4236.jpgHello, I'm new to the forum and just started to ride again, but the only bike I had was probably one of my original bikes, which is a Specialized Hard tail that I converted to a single speed. I picked up this Klein at an estate sale for $45.00 and was wondering if anyone can tell me the model and if its worth keeping. Since I have my hard tail I was actually looking for a suspension bike but this bike is in great condition and all the running gear works like new so I couldn't pass it up.

    Thanks,

Looks like a Pinnacle to me, with the XTii (it would have come with top mount thumb shifters) and that bar/stem, iirc it should be 1990-1991.
Neat old bike!, I would have bought that too, - those were $1500 new back then.
carry clippers! cut something off the trail every time you ride.

I agree, the chrome fork means itís an earlier pinnacle. I had one of these, bonded with it, lost it off my car on i5 one rainy night, I still have a piece of it. I think these are great bikes, really light and stiff.

yep, it is a pinnacle. I owned a 1998 Quantom Pro Kline road bike with all Dura Ace. Very nice bike! It was a good company but I am sure Trek sucked em up!
