What is the exact model of these cranks??

Hey, I know that the Cannondale-distributed Coda Magic cranks have different models, but how about this one, what is the exact model or name?:

Were those made in the US? Could they be used with a single chainring?

I think those are non-c'dale Magic Motorcycle cranks:

Yep they look like the original Magic Motorcycle cranks, before Cannondale bought them up and started making a not as good version them
All the gear and no idea.

If by not good you mean able to use standard chainrings.

Where did/ does one purchase one of these original motorcycle set?

Is the Cannondale magic bottom bracket compatible with these original ones?

I just mean they went from uber cool to super lame in an instant.
And if you just dropped a stupid amount on some cranks, using std chainrings isn't something your going to worry about.

Nice thread at retrobike, wicked build, though the cranks seem to be getting some negative feedback there!

I think that ebay seller is showing a symptom of the "I don't really want to sell so I will ask an outrageous price" syndrome :P

If the OP plans to ride them, keep an eye on them. I had the later version that worked with standard chainrings. I checked the serial numbers on mine against the ones that were known to have problems, and mine were not part of that batch. However, even though mine were not part of the bad batch, they eventually cracked. I did get thousand and thousands of miles out of them before they died and really liked the stiffness and light weight.
