    Weird old Fuji bottom bracket????

Hey, so I'm working on a non MTB Fuji Special Racer.

Looking to plumb the old bike knowledge, so hopefully, someone has seen this before.

Cleaned it all up, putting it back together, discover I only have 23, 1/4" balls. Odd. So I toss one in to make it 24.

Driveside went back together first, took all 12, no sweat.

Non drive? No way in hell would 12 fit, but 11 was a perfect number.

Thing adjusted right up, feels perfect, no drag, no slop, no loping, just nice and smooth.

In all my years of wrenching, I've never seen this.

    Anyone? Bueller?

Isn't 11 the normal one? Excessive wear on the adjustable cup side, maybe?

Nah, cups insides look utterly unmolested. It's weird. Literally no room, and 23, not 24, came out originally...
