    Vintage Specialized Mountain Bike Identification?

    Hey everyone! I just picked up this specialized mountain bike and would like to know what year, model it is. Also is it worth restoring?

    Looks like it is from 1986-88. Probably a Rockhopper.

    Looks like itll make a good grocery getter the way it is. Nothing very valuable, but stuff on it is decent stuff.

    If you provide the serial number, maybe that would help. Color matches a 1987 StreetStomper, but that's all I can say

    There will be a date code on the inside surface of the crank arms. You can decipher it here.
