    I am not sure if applying the brakes would help in that situation.

    Good body English, eyes and front wheel pointed in direction of intent, hands controlling both bars and brakes, proper protective equipment ...

    Besides, it looks like he has locked up the rear. Not good brake control.

    If he has some gaffer tape and zip ties, he'll be right for the next run of the day.

    I see a window with the file info, which I can click on, but it's not showing the image directly.
