Are there any Serious Tom Ritchey MTB collectors on this site ????

I`m looking to contact those who are serious Tom Ritchey MTB collectors. I would like to talk to people that are into the Pre 1983 bikes and parts. If you are one of these people please post in the thread or send me a pm.

I don't collect those bikes. I helped build them.

I just printed that catalog out and ran it through the binder.

While it was simply a catalog in its day, it is now a go-to resource on how to spec a bike of that era.

I have a few of those parts too, some of them filed under "BMX" and some under "ROAD".

I`m looking for a collector that has a set of early Ritchey fillet brazed Bullmoose bars with the original nickel finish & larger 22.2 quill size if anyone has some for sale.

You might have more luck if you said hi, posted some pics, joined the community, and shared your stoke a bit.

3 week run time with almost no info added beyond vaguely specific demands, then pop back to say you're cruising for items for sale is not likely to earn you many friends around here, juuuust sayin'....

I somehow doubt RR is setting up a yard sale on the sidewalk to get rid of his old parts either.

    Welcome, hope that helps.

So really you're just looking for parts. Neat.

So, no point in putting that fact in the first post, politely, with a few pics of the project, etc?

Nope, just a, "if you're not a serious collector of Ritchey stuff, don't bother to even read this", vibe....
