Post a Pretty VRC Pic for Old Times Sake

Read the "Where's GoB" thread and got the sentimental fuzzies.

Posting this for Mendon; thanks for sticking around Craig.

Yee gads that's a sexy brake Steve! Wish I had more to contribute, alas, life pulls in different directions, and the market around here has kinda dried up other than someone donating an American Breezer to a local charity....

    Gorgeous shot DC!

Recently did a complete strip and rebuild on a well loved 70's Fuji for a customer, closest I have that may not have been posted here previously.....

Hi Steve! I thought of you recently. There was a fork for sale that I thought you would like.

Glad you dig the Ron Stout MCS, he didn't make many MTBs from what I hear. Wish this one was a tad smaller though.

    Great pic DC...serious nostalgia.

    Artsy pics MCS...I like.

    Colkervision!

G, what was the fork? You have my attention.

Colker, sorry to say my Wicked and the Yo fork have a new owner. He's doing really nice stuff with it though.

Steve, I’ll have to dig it up. Think it came and went in a hurry.

    Thanks for asking.

Busy, though this Spring was wet and cold, so the whole Spring Rush, just fizzled. Feeling kinda behind for where I should be, but, ah well....

Moved into a building I bought, in 2015, much better than paying rent!

So, seems you're on to bigger things, life is good?

Since we are talking sweet old little parts i need a 1in threaded HS not King. A shimano 600 would be sweet. Open to ideas. Anyone?

They are stiff and dampen some shock. One caveat though: the bar width deforms when pressed and you may have to shim it eventually so the levers don´t twist. I do it w/ electric tape.

    Steve
    It was, absolutely!
We have to get together with you for one of these rides.
Either near you, or near me or somewhere between.
There are plenty of old NORBA courses from the 80s and 90s still in use and available and just as much fun today as then.

And we have plenty of just the right kind of bikes for ‘em!

Well. This came to me last year….or maybe 2 summers ago. It belonged to the owner of Gore and was used as the Ride-On test sled. Cables laced by Garro in the 90's. It's a really nice riding bike.
