Wow, I never knew Skyway made a mountain bike. Add that one the the BMX companies that jumped on the bandwagon. As far as "lemurian" goes, I would think it would have something to do with being a mindless follower; kinda like a bandwagon jumper.

Well Skyway is here in Redding and we also have the Lemurian Shasta Classic mtb race, so there may be some sort if connection there. I think "lemurian" is some sort of gnome that lives in or on Mt. Shasta. I cant be for sure though. CHEERS!

If I remember right, we made some 26" for wheelchairs, but not bikes. But I do believe Tuff Wheels were 20" only. Its been along time and I could be wrong.

Thread necro! Went to a friends house, and he had a Lemurian hanging on the wall. Story is he was friends with a guy in college that used to race MTB and was sponsored by Lemurian.

I Owned One! And am currently trying to find it and buy it back!
And then begin the project of restoring it back to it's original shape.
It was the most amazing bike to me in 1988, I had seen nothing like that. Mountain bikes were new to Panama at the time but this one was the absolute most awesome there was. I don't have photos, just this blown up catalog one. But I will for sure later on!

Hi Bent Wheel. You actually worked at Skyway? Wow. Can you help me, or know anyone who might have replacement decals for the Lemurian Expert? I found a guy in the UK who has a set for the Lemurian Pro-Am, almost the same but not quite.

I have a blue/grey Lemurian frame for sale size 21" I also have a complete Sherpa scout- same colorway I might consider selling. It's currently the GF's townie bike (but one of many).

Of possible extraterrestrial origin. The lenticular clouds that periodically cover the peak of Shasta hide their space ships.
