Older Univega help please
Hi, newbie here.
I purchased a 1983 Univega Land Rover 5 speed in January.
A very cool early hybrid type bike, and I have turned it into a fake 26" BMX cruiser.
However, the BMX style forks bent after a while and the replacement comfort bike forks bent in 3 days.
Does anyone still make a 1" threaded mountain bike fork?
It is a drag not being able to ride this one.

I suppose you could have one custom made...but it'd cost 10x the value of the bike to do that.
Your best bet is your local Craigslist or eBay for a suitable replacement....and that'll take some timing and patience, but it shouldn't be too hard to get.
