My old bike 1998 Stumpjumper Pro

I've just joined these forums, and am a returning to mt.biking after a long time 15~yrs.

This is the bike I rode back in the day.. It cost ~1/2 of what my car at the time did .. of course I could have bought 20+ of these for what my truck now cost .. but I digress..

this bike was ridden many many miles of single track and has been completely covered in the mud of the PNW many times.. but just been idle for sometime.. not sure what I'm going to do with it.. was gifted a Giant Athem 29er by a buddy, which has got me riding again.. unsure what I'll do with this one. A friend tuned this up for me and changed cables, chain...etc, which is good after it sat so long.

I think you'll still like riding it on tight twisty single track. It will feel like the difference between a slalom and giant slalom ski.
