    They look to be in excellent condition.
    You can make the mounts from the early Suntour shifters. They need to be mod'ed a little bit to fit the larger diamter road bar (7/8" to 15/16").

    Thanks for the pic! Seems like a nice solution for campus bikes or commuters. I can see why having drop bars on a converted MTB would be great for that. Slicks would be good too--room for fenders, kind of like a Ribendaile. Thumbshifters are better than STI anyway.

    That set up would be very nice for my grass laps where I run my GSD in one mile loops around the park. Don't need much leverage and the small cross tires beat me up on the cross bike.
