Lets see your old mtb clothing

A t shirt from a local early mtb bike shop. Varsity riders had lots of attitude. The Roach pads are the first armour made for the shore. I was just talking to some folks that went to a mountain film festival that had a show and tell before hand. Local boy Wade Simmons brought out some vintage mtb's and explained how California invented the mountain bike and how the Canadian north shore mountains defined the development of suspension and the modern day mtb. As most members know by now that I am rabid Ritchey collector. 80% of Ritcheys came to Canada in the early to mid 80's before suspension. Where did all these beautiful fillet brazed expensive bikes go? bent, broken, ridden out, on the steep technical slopes of mt Seymour and Fromme. Here is some pictures of daly eighties swag. Lets see your old "T's" race banners/posters. No need to post pictures of your cut jeans shorts that has a worn chamois sewn in.

Ya there is a old tough hammer head rider around the shore here still wears the cut off frayed jean shorts and the weird thing is I am sure he is a Viking or something thats all he wears summer or winter. Kindda like Polar swimming you wonder "how the #@$! do they do that!

Thanks for posting this.. I was there too. I don't remember much except that I finished in last place and race organisers were on their way to find me when I turned up.

Nice! I bet you they remember you more than who won. Geezers sitting around jaw jacking, remember that race way back, the one we were just about to go out and look for that last guy?
