    Klunker Run MTB rally

Saw this in Los Angeles/Antelope Valley CL. Looks like fun.

Too many bikes, and just enough time to ride them.

That looks like a lot of fun. Too bad its on a day when a lot of people still have to work.
Need: McMahon brake for roller cam mounts, Mountain Goat fork.

$10 entry fee includes an event T-shirt and a BBQ. Man, I miss those days.

    Sounds like fun.....
Bring a few bennies to the race and get a deal on some old VRC ride someone dusted off the cobwebs from, to use for the race.

My DX wouldn't fit any category very well.
Seek: Koski Trailmaster. Breezer Series 2 or 3. Cunningham Racer.

Race entry fees have doubled, tripled, quadrupled, most of the perks are gone but the purses have stayed the same

yeah, my Klunker wouldn't fit in well either. 1930's Excelsior with late 70's build (10 speed).

Very cool! Wish I lived in LA (not really), and wish that I had that Monday off (really).
Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.
