    help me ID this klein

it's stripped of paint/decals, so i can't tell what it is.

-Serial number 00885da located on non-drive dropout, not BB shell.
-It's got a traditional rear derailleur hanger (not rear entry dropout like my pulses).
-The cable routing is top tube (not internal).
    -1-1/8 Steerer Tube
-Seller thinks it's an early 90's Rascal.

none of the other klein serial number threads i've been able to find seem to help...

    thanks!

    Photo?

    Not a Rascal
Not early 90's (if it were a Rascal)
and not a Klein if it has a 1 1/8 steerer and dropout serial number

thanks. pics added to first post. weird serial number though... the welds look kleinish (maybe), but i don't see box section chainstays near the BB shell, and it has a cross-piece between the chainstays just behind the BB shell, which i didn't think kleins had...

seller also says he thinks it was built by Caloi for Klein, but i didn't think that ever happened. maybe it's just a caloi... looks like this one (from ffb). if so, are these good frames? i've heard/read very little about caloi:

Kleins of that vintage didn't have screw in BB? I thought they were all pressed in. I know the 80's vintages like my Pinnacle was press fit.

Not a Klein at all. Dead giveaways are the dropouts, cable routing, and standard bottom bracket.

Only difference for -97 Pulse comp is rear dropouts.
It has 1 1/8" headset, normal bb and cable routing on toptube.
