Does anyone remember Dan Wynn the frame builder?

Saw this the other day and I'm impressed. Google provides no information regarding what he used to do in the 90's. None of his bikes pop up either.

I found a couple through google so there are a few out there:
Dan Wynn | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Wynn 54cm custom 650c road bike | eBay

This says Wynn was from Seattle
Wynn 650c time trial bike with carbon aero wheels | eBay

Also looks like Curt Goodrich apprenticed under him. That's a good thing, he is (was?) one of the Rivendell builders. Curt can probably help you fill in the blanks.
Curt Goodrich | About | History

Obviously, I'm kinda bored and unable to sleep.

Not a huge fan of those W's all over the frame, but otherwise it looks really nice. I especially like the looks of that stem from the top view.

    Koski straight blade fork, too.

    Funny!

did you pick that up? That was tempting. Pretty bike, for sure and I agree with FB, the big scribble of Ws is kind of a distracting confusion.

The guy selling it always seems to come up with some pretty interesting stuff.
I have bought from him in the past and it never surprises me what he has next.
Cool bike bike but the paint scheme does little for me.

I havent bought it, just was amazed at the purple paint. I agree all the W's are a bit over the top, but otherwise a gorgeous bike I spoke with the seller over the phone & it sounds like he's a great guy, certainly don't see these every day. Thanks for all the info, apparently my google skills are lacking

maybe Specialized sued him out of business over the brush-stroke Ws looking a little bit like Specialized brush-stroke S if you look at them using a mirror while hanging upside down

I briefly met Dan Wynn a few years ago when I was a bike mechanic. The owner of Alki Bike and Board in West Seattle still rides one of his road bikes daily, his name is Stu.
