    Denver area frame welders?

Want to get an IS disc mount tab welded onto a vintage frame. And we're in Lone Tree. I was kindly shown several all the way out in Fort Collins, but that's kind of far. I'd happily make the drive if there is nobody closer, but it seems a whole lot lest wasteful to keep the drive shorter.

Thanks, mate. That's a start. Off to contact Chris. Should I tell him you referred me?

Thanks for that tip. I cross posted there, too.

Chris got back to me this morning. He said he is not interested. Clear, concise and direct. No minced words or BS. I like him.

If you don't know them already, you might call or drop by Alpha Bicycle on Arapahoe Road, just west of I-25. I don't know if they do this kind of work, but at least they're fairly close to you (and to me in Highlands Ranch).

I've bought various parts from them over the years and tend to think of them as more of a specialty/cyclocross shop than an "all purpose" LBS selling every possible variety of bicycle. They carry All City, Salsa, Moots, and other not-quite-mainstream (in my opinion) brands.

No affiliation; just an occasional customer.
