    Smile Colson Vintage 1940

I have a Colson bike 1940 or 1941 - has skip tooth gearing - original condition except tires -
Colson Bicycle company, Elyria, Ohio, USA - the numbers on the frame are
49 315 - top row and L8 - under the top row numbers
Trying to find info on bike and what it is worth. Any help would be great - Thanks Brad
    I am located in Colorado
Pictures of the bike are on my profile

No idea what it's worth. What specific info are you looking to know about it? I have a book that has photocopies of all/.most of the ads from Colson. They were one of the larger bike manufacturers from "back in the day."
Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.

    Welcome to VRC
Wrong forum to pursue your question. This is primarily a Vintage, Retro, classic Mountainbike specific discussion forum. If you do want to post here, please respect the stickies at the top of the page, or these people will have you for lunch. I recommend you pursue your question here:

Fair warning, not sure how those forums treat members with their first post asking what something is worth....

That would make a great klunker. Love that frame. You should post the pic here.
