    Bontrager SS + Groovy + Woodchipper = ?
Bontrager Single Speed + Groovy + Woodchipper = Happiness :D

Took a bit, but Rody came through. Fit is spot on and very comfy.

Sorry, only garage door shots for now as the trails here are like a skating rink.

Def. works 4 me! Luv the cohesive color scheme right down to the stem:thumbsup:

Is that a white industries chainring on an xtr crank? If so, never knew the two could integrate.

Thanks. I was just going to go with a black stem, but I think this is pretty cool.

Nope, it's an old Spot Brand "spiderless" chainring. XTR m950 and White Ind. don't use the same spline.

    Rody
Awesome James, so glad it met your expectations.

You'll have to shoot down and ride her in one of the Groovy races this year...we're doing a vintage/retro race, should be a hoot.

    cheers,

I have thing for drop bar builds latetly, and this is just another example of a well executed drop bar set up!

I like the stem, looks classy, Rody sure does nice work!

I seem to remember seeing a stem that he did that looked similar to the LD stems of yesteryear, but it looked like it was mounted on a threadless king headset? I was curious how that worked, maybe he could chime in. I saw a few posts on his blog, but no detail on how it mounted.

Not to derail your thread, just wondering!

I am interested to hear how you like the woodchippers, post a report once the trails thaw a little!
