Any other Manitou FS owners out there?

I got a Manitou FS as a gift when I was, ahem, younger, because I grew up in Santa Clarita near the old Answer factory. It has Manitou Three front and rear shocks. Somehow, I've lost the top part of the seatpost. The really cool thing about it is that it has a custom anodization fade from black to silver on the frame. Anyway, if anyone has another one, or knows about the seatpost (it's a matte gray color) size and style, that'd be great.

The original posts were made by Ringle. You should be able to salvage the missing parts from a Ringle post. The size of the post is 31.8mm.
Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.

    You all rock!

I'll post pics soon. I want to clean it up first. I took a double take at the other pic from mik_git on this thread...looks just like the inside of my shed where my bike lived for a while!

Thanks for the hint on the Moby post.

By the way, I just realized I may have tossed it from my bike parts box. Probably saw it and didn't realize what it was...

My younger brother has that bike. Still in great condition too. BECAUSE HE NEVER RIDES IT. Yeah, that's a Ringle Moby Post. I have a black one on my cannondale. Torque the bolt that holds the seat to 75 inch pounds. No more or you'll destroy it.

I'm far from a manitou expert, but I always thought that was a ringle mobypost clamp head on a manitou shaft?
syncros also did a 31.8mm seatpost.. no doubt many others as well

Cheers for that, here's one of the original threads about it:

    http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=418402
(although I've changed the fork decals to more original ones and put a period crud guard on it since that thread so it's now like the photo above)

It was my best score ever on ebay (not very well listed), and I was really lucky with guys on here and RB sorting me out with the bizarre kit like the 90mm BB and Bradbury forks

Here's an older picture of mine. It now has a manitou stem and flat hyperlite.
