New question here. Another "Whatizit?" thread: Unk make, model Blazer

No brand decals, only decal is a model name of "Blazer" on front of top tube. Welded frame, bi-plane fork, Deerhead derailleurs, Araya rims, Sugino crank, Dia Compe cantis, bolt on hubs.

Did a little Google searching but no joy. Anyone have any idea on what this is? Was thinking Nishiki?

Looked it up on bikepedia dot com and did a search for "blazer". There were a few listed, but the one that matches the components that you listed the best is a 1993 Nishiki Blazer. The year might be off a bit but it is a good place for you to start and refine your search. Look under the BB. Sometimes there is some info stamped there that could be easily missed otherwise.

I know this is three years old.

Based on the bi-plane fork and the character font of the model name, this should be a 1984 Nishiki Blazer for the USA market.

In 1984 not all the Noshik mountain bike models made it into the catalog printing..
