    1997 GT Karakoram

    1997 GT Karakoram
I have a pretty much new bike that I bought 20+ years ago - it is blue with yellow Rock Shox - does anyone know the value on the preowned market for such a vintage bike?

    Well said
I would buy a Pie instead but outside of NZ people don't understand a steak and kidney pie.
As for the GT it's a great idea for someone needing transport, so would suggest to give it to one of the organisations looking for bikes give it away free.

Yup, just because its old doesnt mean its valuable. You have there is a decent bike but of no big vintage value. Worth more as a round about rider general purpose bike.

Thes an awesome Aussie pie place in Whistler that is one of our favorite places to eat when there.

Yeah not a lot, if it was an early 90's Karakorum then it would be worth more (but still not a lot). Not that it is a bad biek in any way, but the USA made 90's stuff is sort after (so Xizang, Zaskar and Pysclone) and early Avalanche and then Bravados. Otherwise, even though old GT;s are still liked and sort after, they are wanted for being a decent bike for not much cash.
All the gear and no idea.
