    Rookie question,

What is the difference between the CB 6000's and the CB 6100's. I was under the impression that the proper Suntour RC's for 1985 were the CB 6000's.

    Thanks T

Not sure of the differences. I'll have to check and see if I can scare up some more Suntour catalogs to scan.

    '84 vs '85?

Cant tell from the photo if the pad posts are threaded but that could be a difference.

Edit: After going to the scans on the Mombat site the 6000 is the brakes with levers and the 6100 is just the brakes

Yep, I see that now. I do have some more Suntour stuff to scan in. Maybe over the holidays.

Thanks for the clarification, I see itr in the catalog now. So how hard is it to find the brake pads with threaded arms?

I have one of those rolling around in the parts bin. Now I know it's vintage...and what the heck it is called.
