Went out and did some Comfortably Numb and some other fun stuff in the valley. unfortunately the winds had shifted and the smoke was HEAVY that morning. I think I saw ash falling a few hours later. No bueno. :madam:

Just chiilen, waiting for Crankworks course to be finished so I could show that Semenuk kid how to do things right this time.

After years and years of hitting the bike park on the dh bikes, I decided this was the year of the Trail Bike!

Sheeeeesh this bike is amazing! A few geometry tweaks has made this thing a monster. So much fun.

Longer cockpit, shorter stem, slacker head angle = more stable romping on the big stuff,. Pivot location change makes for more pronounced antisquat curve at sag (30%) so less regressive damping (Propedal) needed but still very supple on small and big hits. 27.5 wheels. BB height is lower, 13.4" on my bike at 140, 13.6" @ 160, corners are even more stable and able to rail them. Same Ventana lateral stiffness.

I had a Bruja and Salty combo, I replaced both with my Zeus. Don't miss either bike. The Zeus is that much fun.

Bottom line....the Terremoto will feel like a small toy once you've ridden a Zeus. It'll pedal better. Have better mid stroke support. Updated geometryzero downside. And heck use that T frame as a trade in and save yourself a few buckets of cash.

Win,fricken win, all the way around.

Nice pics. I ride two different Zeus. Both have 2 degree slack headsets. One has 170mm fork the other 160mm. Both amazing bikes.

Geometry tweaks? Are these standard or custom?

I have not looked at the Zeus for some time, but it looks like the geometry was possibly updated recently.
