anyone either use push or an avalanch tune for an El Bastardo shock?

    Hello all,
Seems it may be time for damper service on my wife's El Bastardo (no real changes in feel with the leverchanges, and a sloshy/gurgly noise). It has a Fox boost valve RP23 on it. Thinking if I am going to send it in for damper service maybe time to take advantage of some of the upgrades to the internals.

In the past I Have been happy with Push, but Avalanch seems up there as well. Looking for any opinions either way.

I ran into a similar situation with my RP23 making the gurgle noises of death. I ended up sending it to Push since I also needed work done on my Classic Pike (454 U-turn Air Version) I was hoping for functioning parts back to keep my Salty going a bit longer while I save up for a new frame. I got back well, it felt like brand new fork and shock. I'm just about a year with them now and the pairing has been awesome, made the Salt feel like a new bike. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Push Fanboi, my first go with them was less than ideal (rebound circuit died after 4 months on a Vanilla RC I had them tune, they didn't warranty it since it's a 90day Warranty.) but this experience has been very positive. Also, the cost was better than Avy by quite bit.

decided to give Avy a try.
currently for an RP23 boost valve shock it's actually a bit less before shipping.
been reading good things. I also am interested in an Avy tune on another bike whenever it decides to actually show up....

    I will report back.

    Erik,
How did your wife like the El Bastardo last summer? Hope it was a good purchase for her. I had a lot of fun on that bike.

Sorry for the long delay. Avy was great and the turn around was really fast.
Then the weather went to hell and my wife was using other bikes for a while.

Over the last 4 weeks she has gotten it out to the rougher trails (for here) and the shock is working great. Hard to get firm details second hand, but questions around traction and bike feel are answered with no issues.

Also Chuck yep she has been liking the bike. Thanks again.
