    Fruita: Bike Shipping Options

Coming out to Fruita in September for a week of riding. Looks like I can rent the same SC 5010 that I own from Over The Edge for $621 for the 6 days I am there and on-trail. That is heavy.

I'd be willing to break-down and ship my bike via BikeFlight but not sure of logistics. I am staying at an Air BnB so nobody there to receive my rig.

Is taking it with me on the plane the best option? Should be $300 for both ways.

Ship your bike via BikeFlight to Over The Edge and have them put it together. When it's time to go, break it down and send it back via BikeFlight. Did the same thing several years ago- no problems and relatively inexpensive. Over The Edge was really cool and allowed us(4 people) to keep are bike boxes at the shop so didn't have to carry around with us.
