    winter riding in moab?

I am thinking of driving to Moab from way up in Canada to escape harsh winter and do some riding. What is winter riding like in Moab? Are there enough snow-free trails to make it worth a long drive?

    Thanks for your suggestions!

Personally, I think winter in moab is one of the best times to be there.

Most of the trails will be in perfect shape unless you happen to get an absolute ripper of a storm through while you are there. If you want to lash out for a hotel room, you can get one for around $30.

The town is quiet and the trails are pretty much empty.

Hi. I currently live in Edmonton too. I havebeen going to Moab every Dec-Jan for 5 or 6 years now. The trails at higher elevation will be covered with snow but most are normally good. If Moab is bad drive to St George/Huricane. Definately go

    PM if you have any?
