    The Whole Enchilada trail conditions

Serious snow last night; a coule of inches on LPS, more higher up. People are only shuttling Porcupine Rim today, and *maybe* LPS tomorrow if there's some melting and drying out today.

Most likely that's it for the year for TWE - especially with more precipitation on the way, and temperatures at altitude being way below freezing. But, of course, there are a few hundred miles of other trails in Moab to ride.....

hmmmm... where are you seeing more precipitation on the way? La Sal and Moab forecast are both completely clear (0%) in the 10 day. I see nothing but sunshine in the foreseeable forecast. I bet it opens up this weekend to jimmy keen. Photos I saw LPS looked like it had an inch or maybe two.

It's mostly melted off already, just a dusting. Temps are in the 70's and 80's still so I don't see it closing for a few weeks anyway. Sporadic storms are normal this time of year. We were up there hiking yesterday and it was 70degrees at 8000 feet.

My buddy went to UPS today on the 7:30. Sounds like Burro might open up tomorrow.

Thursday 10/12 update from a local shuttle driver who checked it out....

Trail Updates: We were hoping to go back to Burro as the road and climb are clear but unfortunately there is just too much snow and mud on the trails from the top of the climb down. At this point Hazard Trail is also not an option, extremely muddy. Hopefully Burro and or Hazard will open up in 1 more week. They need more sun to dry out at this point.
For now we are shuttling to the bottom of Koko so you can ride UPS down. It is not worth ruining your bike, trails and potentially getting hurt.
Please stay off of Burro and Hazard if you are self-shuttling. A couple of riders can do enough damage for days worth of work for trail maintenance.
We will keep you posted as we continue to monitor the trails for you.
We love bikes, the people that ride them and also our trails!
