When will DV/PC trails be rideabel

We are coming out for a long weekend in PC and want to come when we can access the trails. I heard PC was still getting snow up until 2 weeks ago??? How much snow pack is still left? Should we wait until mid July to make the trip??

Webcam image from Deer Valley this morning

It looks like the snow is melting fast. It's supposed to be cool and rainy here for the next few days, but the trails should be rideable within a couple of weeks. I doubt they'll make their projected opening day of June 18 at Deer Valley, but they'll be close.

    NORBA Nats

The NORBA Nationals will be at DV on 16-19 June.
So I am sure they will be coming up with something.
I'll be there with camera in hand reporting for MTBR.

By mid-June DV lower mountain should be OK to ride. Most of the NCS stuff is run down low. Upper-mountain Bald Mtn. trails like Fireswamp and Thieves Forest look to still be under a bunch of snow. Unless it gets very warm and stays that way between now and June 18th, I don't see upper mountain being rideable 'til late June to early July.

    Park City conditions?

What's going on in Park City, snow? The Norba is next weekend and I was going to come down and pre-ride the course this weekend, but someone said to check the snow conditions? WTF it's June! This is the coldest June I can remember here in Boise, not worth putting on shorts or going to the pool.

I was going to see if I could preride the course this WE but I don't know if I'd travel from Id. for this!! It is going to be very snowy still (got another 4" 2 days ago) and from what I understand all the groomers still have to be cleaned up.. Bring your mud tires

Just went there to check things out today. Snow is cleared almost everywhere. They are 2 completely separate courses for beg/sport and expert/pro.
Everything looks great. It's gonna be fun!
