New question here. When is the GooSSeberry Gathering?

Is there such a thing? And when would it be?
I'll bring my SS 29er if someone sets something up.

    You mean USUSUS

Are you referring to the Ultimate Southern Utah Singlespeeders United Summit?

I think it's already in the works.

How about Memorial Day Weekend? Chuky and I will have settled in our new place in SLC by then...

Any Utah Singlespeeders want to get together and plan something fun?

AAARRGGHHH!.....Hmm, well, I'm unemployed. And I just sit around and dork-off on the computer.
I've got 512 ozs of watermelon GatorAde and 512 of Grape. And a case and a half of PowerBars. I'd have to split them between the summits.

Is there anyone else in Utah besides you? You are not even there yet.
Not sure if I could use two weekends in a row. I have two NEWLY resucued Greyhounds since December. My wife is kinda small for two dogs, four walks a day.
The fires are a burnin. Well, maybe it is just the dust in my head.

    Maybe...

Maybe we should change the title of our thread to

What tires for Gooseberry and USUSUS?

I know the Utah guys love to view the 10,000 Moab Restaurant questions every time they visit the forum...

But this is for real! UTAH SINGLESPEED ROLLCALL! I know you're out there.

The SSSSS was a great time, I think we need to take it on the road to the Beehive State.

maybe they need to see the SSSSSS pictured to get excited.

I don't know if we can get anymore of those Euskaltel themed dust-protectors, though... we will have to come up with something else just as cool.

    Cheers,
    Chuky

I can't say who of a cultish w**l jersey company that went out of business that has since been reserected said that he could throw some flow my way. Not sure if is stickers or beenies or what. Socks, jersey? Who knows!? If it is two peices then maybe It could stretch to two summits. However, it/they are for the socal summit.

I may even score some CRC shwag.

    Lynda,
JMH, Chuky and myself are in southern California. Three SoCalers trying to organize Utah SS Summit is gonna be a big "pull it out our ACS"!
Where are the Utahshins that can really get something organized? Any particular forums/boards that they/you use other than MTBR?

Donkey (from OC) and Endomaniac (from Tennessee) are planning a visit that weekend, so that could potentially make 6...

Lynda- what is the best nearby spot for reservable campsites? Carla and I usually camp at Zion, but Gooseberry access is tougher from that side (in our Passat, anyway) and the Watchman and South campgrounds will likely be overrun with screamers and noisy generators on Memorial Day. Maybe not a problem, though? I could reserve a group spot and we could just accept that there will be lots of people around. It is awfully nice to just ride across the bridge to have a beer at the cafe just outside the Park entrance...

Any other location suggestions? Or should we just do first-come-first served up on the Mesa?
